The Miniature Schnauzer was bred as a farm dog and as a ratter, though its small size led to it becoming a treasured family pet and companion dog. Despite its early beginnings as a working breed, the Miniature Schnauzer is actually quite loving and affectionate. The Miniature Schnauzer can be quite gentle and calm when called for, though it can also be quite lively and playful as well.
